We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. To those we haven’t seen since March 2020: we miss you! To those who have been able to visit us, we thank you for your efforts to keep the Attic going while keeping our community safe!
“Wisconsin must use all its tools, including keeping people physically apart and wearing face coverings, to slow this dangerous spike. The consequences of failing to act could be devastating and deadly. Because of the time period between infection, diagnosis, and the development of serious symptoms, hospitalizations and deaths lag behind case counts. Wisconsin is now experiencing increases in both of these serious indicators because of the steep rise in cases of COVID-19 over the past month.”
UPDATE, JUNE 12, 2021:
Facemasks no longer required inside the Attic IF YOU HAVE BEEN VACCINATED. If you have not been vaccinated, we politely insist that you mask up, or call in your order and wait outside for the barista to bring it to you. Our entire staff IS now vaccinated, but we want to make sure we are still doing what we can to protect any immunocompromised, elderly, under-age-12 children, or other vulnerable customers that enter our building. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding.
Effective FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 5, 2021, the Attic is expanding our hours! We will be open 8am – 5pm Saturday & Sunday, 7am – 3pm Monday through Thursday, and 7am – 5pm Friday.
Limited in door and outdoor seating is currently available, and Whitney Park is just across Jackson Street from the Attic! We plan to sanitize tables and chairs between every group. At this time, groups MUST be limited to six people or fewer. We also will only have one restroom open to the public, which will be thoroughly cleaned multiple times throughout the day. Hand sanitizer stations will be available, and our condiments counter is being modified. We also have added a separate counter location for order pick-up! Our credit/debit card reader will be sanitized between uses.
All food and drinks will be served in single-use to-go packaging. Our lunch and brunch menus are suspended until further notice. At this time, we are unable to heat baked goods, though we will be toasting bagels. There will be no refills on coffee or hot water for tea until further notice.
All coffee beans, loose leaf teas, spices, books, and coffee&tea brewing items are available! We ask that if you plan on making a large coffee, tea, or spice purchase, you phone ahead to place your order and arrange a pick-up time, to ensure that we have all that you need.
We are very excited to see all your friendly faces again! We ask that everyone please be patient and respectful of both staff and other customers as we navigate these changes to store policies and functions. We kindly request that all who enter the building respect best recommendations from the WEDC, Brown Health Department, WHO, and other experts regarding social distancing. They ARE the experts! We want to keep our friends, families, neighbors, and community members as safe as possible, and we’re sure you all feel the same!
We’ll see you soon, Green Bay! #YourCupIsWaiting
